A yellow-dipped maggot streaks toward a red line it previously made. Students can position their maggot or simply watch them crawl. Many students name their maggot and some ask to take them home. (Photo by Kathy Keatley Garvey) The TV show, CSI, commissioned Rebecca O'Flaherty to create this Maggot Art painting, held here by Gil Grissom (portrayed by actor William Petersen). The painting is a permanent part of the CSI set and hangs in Grissom's office.
