Lisa Reimer, a University of California, Davis doctoral student who researches insecticide resistance in an African malaria mosquito, receives the statewide 2006 William C. Reeves New Investigator Award. Making the presentation is medical entomologist Gregory Lanzaro, director of the UC Mosquito Research Program (UCMRP) and the UC Center for Vectorborne Diseases.
